We are excited to announce that the collection
First Flight Feathers: The Best of Worship Live
will be published by Sacristy Press in summer 2023.
The collection will include hymns texts, hymn tunes, prayers, poems and meditations.
First published in 1994, Worship Live was initially sponsored by Stainer and Bell. Subscribers were invited to offer comment on their own experience as preachers, worship leaders and congregants. Contributions were welcomed from writers across the denominational spectrum and as a result many hymn writing careers were launched. Later Worship Live became an independent publication and continued to flourish via vibrant hymn writing weekends and workshops. It ceased publication in 2016.
